Cadillac Repair: seville starting problrm, fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter

Question
96 SLS with 70K miles.  After siting a day or two engine will not start.  A shot of ether and it starts up and runs good.  Fuel pressure good, 2 second start-up solenoid works, new fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator but same old problem.  Any suggestions?

How much fuel pump pressure do you have ?.


Try this trick:

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position ONLY, DO NOT try and start the car. Just turn the ignition key to the on position and back to the OFF position 5 times and on the 6th time try and start the car and tell me what happens.
