Cadillac Repair: 94 Deville Service Ride Control and Stalling, bumpy surface, power control module

Question
I have a 1994 Deville / 4.9 liter / V8 PFI / 83k miles. The Service Ride Control notice came on yesterday. Cleared codes and came on again. No ride problems noticable yet.

I have owned it about 5 months. It has stalled twice on the road while driving at low speeds. I put it in N and restarted no problem. Most recently, yesterday on bumpy surface road.

Checked Codes:
Code I039 Current is the only one active (No PCM, No ACP, etc.)

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Paul

Answer
CODE 39 = Loss of raoad sensing suspension.

You have a problem with either the:

road sensing suspension circuitry.
the instrument panel control.
the power control module.
the AC programmer
the electronic body control module.

which will require being repaired by your dealer.
