my boyfriends 1991 cadillac deville just recently got broken in to.  in attempting to steal the car they tore off the right side of the steering column before getting caught and now the steering wheel is locked and wont budge.  how do we get it unlocked?
Answer -
You need special tools to remove the steering wheel and a couple of inner components in order to disengage the lock rod.

Does it have a TILT and telescopic steering wheel with an air bag on the steering wheel ?.
