Cadillac Repair: resetting Codes for air-conditioning after servicing, cadillac seville sts, 1996 cadillac seville sts

I have a 1996 Cadillac Seville STS, just replaced the air conditioning compressor, drier,orifice filter and recharged system after evacuating system. How do I reset the service air conditioning message on information center. There is an ocational a low on refrigerant message.

Hi Michael, Here's what to do. With the engine running and the cliamate control panel set to off push and hold OFF and WARMER or OFF and PASSENGER WARMER buttons on the cliamate control panel for 5 seconds or until it goes into diagnostics...When it displays PCM? push low fan until it displays ACM?...push hi fan when ACM CODES? appears...push low fan when ACM CLEAR CODES appears...push hi fan to clear codes. ACM CODES CLEARED appears...then turn off the ignition and the next time the key is turned on the dash will be back to normal. Hope that isn't too confusing. Just remember low is no and hi is yes.
