Answer
Hi Mike, If the check engine light is on seeing what code(s) is there might help with the stalling problem. Otherwise checking fuel pressure when the stall occurs would eliminate a bad fuel pump or relay. Inside the distributor there is a wire connection where the power wire goes. Sometimes this wire can loose its connection and the engine will cut off like you are experriancing. Testing the wire harness with an ohmeter will usually find this problem while wiggleing the wires with the meter hooked up. Then you will need to replace both halfs of the harness and the problem should be fixed. The other problem area is where the neg battery cable connects to the engine by the starter. Remove the starter bracket and wirebrush the black paint from the bracket where the bolt and the cable touch it. Clean the cable end and the engine block and then reassemble makeing sure the bolt is tight. Hope those suggestions help. Bill
