Chevrolet Repair: 2000 z71, laser thermometer, hotter than the rest

last year i had a bouncing feeling in my front tires when bracking manly geting off the hyw  took it to the cheve house and it had a worped rotter  so new rottes and bracks  1 yr later it seems to have the same viberation  i do all in town driving cheve house said it could do that  so i buy new sloted rotters and pads  two days later im geting the same problem i took it to sears for a front end alinmeth  and it was out a little  but i dont know if they checked the tie rod ends  help me

Hey,

 You might have a caliper that is dragging or a collapsed flex line.  IF a caliper doesn't retract or brake pressure doesn't escape properly the pads will drag and overheat the rotor.  YOu need to get a laser thermometer and take if for a drive.  pull over and check the temperature of the front rotors and if you have one thats hotter than the rest (the backs will be cooler than the front) you know what to do.
