Chevrolet Repair: brakes, chevy 1500, vacuum pump

Question
I replaced a back brake line on my 95 chevy 1500 4x4 I bleed the brakes until their was no air and they didn't work then I found a leak that i fixed and the brakes still don't work & the brake fluid barely leakes out of the bleeder

Answer
Hey Kyle,

You probably still have air in the system.  Try bleeding the front brakes first.  Even though you didn't do the front brake line if you create a pressure drop in the front the proportioning valve will jump back to center to allow brake fluid to the rear.  Let them gravity bleed for a bit first.  If you can get your hands on a vacuum pump draw fluid through the back first.  Getting aall of the air out first will help let the proportioning valve center.
