Chevrolet Repair: 1994 Camaro, tough job, fuel pump

remove fuel pump and how to check to see if is working
before I parked the car it ran know it will not start I took off fuel filter
turned car over no gas came out the line?
I don't hear fuel pump when i turn key on
please help Jay!!

Hi Jay,

Did you park this for the winter, and now it won't work?  Or did you just park is somewhere and suddenly it won't work?  Makes a difference.

Pump could be bad.  Or the relay.  Or a fuse if you have one.  Or the ignition switch.  Or the theft control.  All these could stop power to the pump.  

If you decide to replace the pump, you need to drop the tank.  That may involve dropping the rear axle slightly.  Not a tough job, but time consuming.  Cheaper to do it yourself.
