Chevrolet Repair: rough idle, vacuum problem, vacuum booster

Question
My 2000 Tiburon has a rough idle. The rpm is steady at 700, drives ok. I have brought it to 2 dealers and to Midas. First dealer completed a tune up and replaced timing belt. Midas found nothing. Had oil changed and replaced all fluids (transmission & coolant) and cleaned the injectors. The last dealer I brought it to look at it for 2 days. They have checked the engine mounts, completed vacuum test (found a small vacuum problem which they fixed), spark plugs, ignition coil, computer found no errors, I am not sure what else that have check but they say they call the Hyundai engineers and checked everything they suggested. The only thing they found is that the clutch is worn and this might be causing the problem. Is the possible? I do not want to spend an other $750 and still have the vibration.

Answer
Hello Joanna,
If it is a rough idle, I would say the clutch is not the problem. They are guessing, and grasping at straws.
If they are positive, ask them if they will eat the cost if it doesn't absolutely fix the rough idle.

Has anyone checked the vacuum booster on the brakes, to see if it is leaking vacuum?

I can't immagine that one of them didn't check and clean the EGR valve.

Aside from that, dirty injectors, or a bad one.
