Chevrolet Repair: Radiator leak, radiator leak, coolant

88 chev caprice v8, is it true that radiator must
have water added aside from the coolant that is
fed to the a/c, under impression that the
coolant feeds into the radiator as part of the
cooling system. my mechanic advises me that
coolant feeds only the a/c and water must be
added to the radiator ?

Your question makes NO SENSE.

WHAT does the A/C have to do with the cooling system portion of the engine ?. Yes you have to mix water with the anti-freeze and per the instructions on the anti-freeze container.


I have NO CLUE as to what you are referring to as far as the A/C air conditioning.
