Chevrolet Repair: More Power, throttle body spacer, reputable repair facility

Question
I own a 1993 Chevy cheyenne with the 4.3L V-6 engine.  My question is how can I get more power out of this motor.  There are a few suggestions that I have run into such as an intake system or a throttle body spacer or maybe an entire new intake manifold.  Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Answer
The manufacturer designs the engine to strict specifications and any alterations to this system will result in PROBLEMS with the emissions system and the computer system.

I have had many vehicles that have been altered in some manner or form come into my shop with all sorts of problems and as soon as I saw the alterations, The customer was advised that we would NOT be able to hep him.

Once you change the original manufacturers design and specifications, You are going to have more problems then you can ever imagine with the performance of the vehicle as well as trying to get a reputable repair facility to work on the vehicle that has been ALTERED.

The choice is naturally up to you, I just hope you make the RIGHT decision and leave it alone.
