Chevrolet Repair: Starting Problem, firewall test, break system

Question
When I came home from work last knight I pulled in and shut down as always. A short time later I went back out to leave and the engine turned over normally but the truck wouldn't start.
It's a 1992 Chevy Cheyenne 1500 with a 4.3 Litre
engine, fuel injection, 5 speed stick 2 wheel drive.
I just had the clutch replaced with bearing and pressure plate, the whole kit. Tuned up with platnum plugs a year ago, changed belt also, it has air. Put in a new starter and alternator this past summer. Changed fluid and flushed break system. I change oil regularly adding Pro Long engine treatment each time. Change air filter every 2 oil changes.
I do not know weather or not it has a michanical or electric fuel pump. PLEASE help. Thank you, Joe

Answer
Hi Joe,
It has an electric fuel pump inside the gas tank.
Get back by the tank, and listen while someone turns the key to RUN...not start.
You should hear the pump buzz for about three seconds.
If you don't, check the fuse. It should be under the hood, on the passengers side of the firewall. There is a big plastic cover over the relay, fuse, and junction block. The fuse is in a little plastic holder screwed to the firewall.
Test it for power with a test light when the key is turned to run. It should have power for the same three seconds.

If the pump is running, check for spark at a plug wire.
