QuestionQUESTION: Hi Roland sorry it's taken me long to get back to u but I didn't see that relay so I called the dodge place n ask for it and they said that the asd relay is the fuel pump relay so I checked the voltage like u said and I was getting the 12 volts like u said so do u think it's the relay I fixed a/c inn homes for 22 yrs but I don't know how the relay on cars work far as what all it brings on or give power to Thanks Robert
ANSWER: Hi Robert,
You have identified the relay I asked you to find. Now remove it, and use a jumper wire to jump from the rear pin of the relay socket to the front pin of the relay socket. When you do that you should hear the fuel pump run. Then try to start the engine and see if it will start or not. Remove the jumper after you do this testing.
Also, on the question of fuses, did you actually remove each of the fuses and test it for continuity using either a continuity tester or an ohm-meter? If not, then you should do that now. We have to get power to the instrument cluster so that the Check Engine light works so that we can do a fault code readout to find what is wrong.

QUESTION: The fuel pump came on heard and smelled the gas it still didn't start like it's not gettn any fire I also tried to see if it would show me a code but the light didn't come on
AnswerThen we have to get the check engine light to work. Verify that fuse #8 under the dash is working using a voltmeter. Then if that is, verify that there is 12v on pin D of the right circuit board plug at the cluster (dark blue trace wire). If that checks out, then there is a "cold" solder joint at the place where the plug's pin socket attaches to the circuit board and you will need to reheat that solder joint. Without a check engine light, we can't get a fault code, and without a fault code we can't figure out what is causing the no start. I assume this is a conventional type of instrument cluster, correct?
