Chrysler Repair: adjustable rear camber?: 06 Sebring, adjustment screws, forward adjustment

Question
My 2006 Sebring-
Mechanic said camber can't be adjusted on rear
wheels.  It came from the factory that way,   I've never heard
of this.  Have you?  Toe in and others can be adjusted.
Incapable to adjust camber on the rear.

                   What do you think?

                          Thanks             Dick

Answer
Hi Dick
It depends upon what you find on the vehicle, as best I can tell from looking into the '05 service manual. On the 'earlier versions' of the JR chassis (which first came out in '01) the foward and rear lateral links of the rear suspension both had adjustment screws. However it appears that at some point the adjustable rear link was deleted which means that only the toe can be adjusted by means of the forward adjustment screw. So if the mechanic indeed finds only one adjustment screw on each side of the rear suspension, then the camber is not adjustable unless you weere to replace the fixed length rear lateral link with an adjustable lateral link. You could verify this at a dealer parts department.
