Chrysler Repair: What could be wrong, dodge place, shift indicator

Symptoms:

After the PCM was changed (for a cruise control problem) the following things didn’t work:

AC Compressor, Speedometer, Vent select controls.

The following lights came on:

Driver air bag, all shift indicator lights, check engine light

HOWEVER….3 times between my house and work, they all normaled-up for a second or two.

The computer at the Dodge place points to the On-board computer and the Dash Cluster as well as the PCM.

They put a 2nd PCM in and the problems are still there including the PCM.

Hi Tom,
You didn't mention the year/make/model so I can't look into a specific manual. Was all this work done at the dealer (starting with replacing the pcm)?
Let me know the specifics and the history.
Also, do you have the original pcm? and what happens when it is re-installed?
There is a need to program some aspects of a new pcm using the readout box at a dealership, and was that done?
Are you sure that the replacement pcm's are the right part number?
