Chrysler Repair: Power window: 06 300, chrystler 300, window regulator

Question
I have a 2006 Chrystler 300 Touring. It has a 3.5L engine. My driver side window slipped off its tract. I'm sure I know how to get the door panel off but want to make sure I have what I need to realign it. Thank you!

Answer
Hi Rocki,
I have a CD of the '05 manual but no way to copy the pages about the door window regulator. The complete removal of the regulator begins by removing the 2 screws that hold the pull cup bracket and then the bracket itself. The lower screw also retains the bottom of the rear regulator channel it appears. Then is suggests raising the window (which you can't do but perhaps can get around this issue) enough to get you access to the front and rear bracket that retains the glass itself to the mechanism and then remove the 2 screws that hold the glass to each bracket which allows you to then slide the glass up all the way and tape it in place out of the way so you can then deal with the regulator mechanism. There are then steps to remove the regulator mechanism numbering about 10. Let me know if this is not sufficiently helpful and I can try to go on from there. Also let me know if you want the step to remove the door panel.
