Chrysler Repair: 97 Neon pouring gas out exhaust code 0203, 0303, orange wire, dual cam

Question
1997 neon dual cam. I have raw fuel blowing out the exhaust. code p0303 mainly. p0203 some. I have tried cam position sensor, plugs, plug wires,coil,sea-foam inj. claner. Found the block ground unhooked, hooked it back up. Fuel pres. is about 52. Pres. in motor is between 120 and 130.One guy told me he put a light on #3 inj., he said the light didn't flicker. I tried it and it did. I switched #3 and #4 inj. Still #3 comes up. #3 is the one that stays wet. I can clear out the com. And it will run fine for a while , then start back again.Seems like when I hooked up the block ground it starts this a little faster.I had a timing belt put on about a year or a year and half ago. Had to put 8 valves in. Thanks

Answer
Hi Billy,
I would suggest that you check the yellow/white wire from the #3 injector plug (pin 1) to pin 7 of the pcm (there are two plugs, find the 1-40 plug) to verify that it is connected (0 ohms) resistance between the plug pins, and also measure the resistance between the wire and chassis ground to make sure that it is not shorted to ground. I suspect that #3 injector is leaking either because of the injector (but you tried a switch and that didn't help) or because that wire is shorted to ground (which is the same as it being 'on' all the time). When you say "put a light on" exactly what was the connection of the 'light'? The dark green/orange wire on pin 2 will show 12V constant, while the #1 pin would pulse between 12 and 0, if the wire is being pulsed to ground properly to turn off and on the injector. You could compare the pattern of pulsing of the #3 injector to the other injectors, similarly tested to see if there is a difference. And you could check the wires of say the #4 injector to pin 16 and if that looked the same, then you may have to conclude that the pcm is defective in driving the #3 injector.
