Chrysler Repair: P0340 code, camshaft position sensor, volt supply

Question
2001 Sebring, 2.7l, auto: I have been getting a P0340 code for about once a month for the last 6 months. The car will briefly stumble and then the CEL will illuminate. Problem has occurred at cold start-up and while driving on the highway after car was warmed up. The car will run fine after the quick stumble and the light will stay on for two or three driving cycles and then go off. Replaced the camshaft position sensor and same problem continued with same frequency. Traced wires from sensor to ECM and no problems found. Wiggled connector and also flexed entire length of wires while car was running and problem doesn't occur. Have also found that code will continue to be stored even after CEL goes off, but will eventually clear itself. Help!
