Chrysler Repair: AC Leak: condenser replacement, 02 Intrepid, xerox copy, postal mail

I noticed that I have a leak in my Condenser in my 2002 Intrepid. Can you tell
me what Is the easiest way to replace it myself. I am somewhat handy with
certain car problems but I never change anything that have to do with my AC.
Can you PLEASE help!!!

Hi Laumell,
I assume that you have lost the refrigerant due to the leak. Otherwise it is desireable to collect and reuse it, which is practical only at an AC shop.
I only have the '98 shop which may not be exactly correct for your '02. But it gives a 25-step procedure which would be easier to xerox copy and postal mail to you rather than to type it in here. If you can wait for it to arrive, use the "thank and rate" tab to give me a postal mailing address. It is mainly removing the structural parts necessary to then remove the radiator, trans cooler and condenser. Just following the steps and usual tools would do it. Then you would want an AC shop to refill the system properly.
