Chrysler Repair: 2001 Plymouth Neon, plymouth neon, states power

My check engine light just came on yesterday. I learned how to crack the codes, and P-1681 and P-0551 came up. However, I don't understand what they mean or what to do. I know the 0551 states 'power steering switch may not be working (neons: high pressure is showing up at high speed). How do I fix that. and the 1681- states no message received from the cluster control module(dashboard computer). Now I am a young woman, and I don't want anything to happen while transporting my two kids. Please help me.

does your cluster have any issue with it such as not working or work some times the not at all?   and the switch is an easy fix  37 bucks for a new switch and it will just screw in and away u go. I live in Atlanta and could help u out with some of this stuff .
