Chrysler Repair: 2002 PT Cruiser error code (limp mode), transmission control module, computer failure

Question
QUESTION: My service engine came on and I got to scan the errors and it found p0605 and p0700.  Could this be a sensor gone bad or what can I do to fix it?

ANSWER: the 605  is an internal Tranny computer failure  U will need a tranny computer  no way around it. It will also need to be programed as well once installed.
If u live near Atlanta I would help u out with this.

QUESTION: Wish I live close to you, I live in South Texas.  I took it to a tranny shop and he checked everything and said it was possible that it would be the TCM, but he had to make sure it was no wires messed up.  But more than likely it would be the TCM.  If its the TCM do I have to get a brand new one or would a used one be ok?   I know it would have to be reprogramed, but would a used one work just as good?  Thanks again so much....
