Chrysler Repair: 1995 Dodge Intrepid black smoke and wont accellerate...., fuel pressure regulator, moonlight road

Question
put in new fuel filter, new fuel pressure regulator, and new fuel pump finally today.  STILL same problem.  Should i check the temp. sensor as the guage reads nothing and that's after car is warmed up.  I really can only get it to idle and once in a while the thing will rev up and run fine sitting, but when I drive off, it stutters, sputters,a nd finally dies and won't restart for a while.  I was thinking O2 sensor and/or coolant temp. sensor as the guage was not reading, but who knows maybe the guage never worked I don't have that info at my disposal.  Maybe crank sensor, and/or cam sensor?  Help, I told my 72 year old friend Buzz I could fix his car and so far have (don't have a computer to get the codes, and forgot how to do this w/out a scanner) spent $200 or more of his money fixing things which apparrantly were not wrong!@!  OOPS.  I should have ODBII scanned it, but hindsight is always 20/20.  I won't make this mistake again listening to others who say "Oh, it's the fuel filter, or "Oh, it's the fuel pump, I'm sure of it."  I should have listened to  my gut and went back to the old brain in my head archive and said, "Ok, freaking sensor hell here, let's remember the dreaded 5 month troubleshoot on my Jeep last year... ahahah"

help if you can, and any time you give me will be GREATLY appreciated sir.

Answer
Well do or did u have a check engine light on b4 any of this happened? if so and u have not unplugged the batt  whats the codes. If u cant get the car to run for awhile and passable get a code  u will be flying in the dark with with only a pocket flash light. What kinda test equipment do u have? volt meter test light stuff like that. If u have no such items to do basic things U might as well have a shop or some one with that sorta stuff to look at it and hook up a chrysler scanner or a snapon scanner that can get some sensor readings and such.
