I HAVE BEN WORKING ON TRANS PROBLEMS PTIFTS GOOD COLD HOOT GOSES INTO 2 GEAR CHANGED SHIFT SILINOIDS, VALVEBODY KEEP GETTING P0750 LR SHIFT SILINOID SHORTED OPEN STUCK . SO I NEED TO KNOW THE COLERS OF THE WIRES .ITHINK ITIS SHIFT SILINOID A       THINKS

Hi Ken,
The LR solenoid is controlled by a light blue (or light blue/white) wire that connects pin 20 on the trans controller plug to pin 7 on the solenoid/pressure switch box plug. The LR pressure switch sense is carried on the dark green (or dark green/tan) wire from pin 50 to pin 2 on the same set of plugs.
The manual says to verify that you are getting 12v from the trans relay control output as the first thing to check (red wire on pin 4 of the 8-pin plug at the box).
Then the manual says:
Check whether the solenoid control wire is open, grounded or shorted to voltage. Finally check the solenoid itself. If everything looks good, then consider replacing the trans control module.
There are a set of tests that involve using the diagnostic readout box III and a Miller Tool trans simulator, but those are not something that the amateur mechanic can afford.
