It appears that I have to take some of the top of the engine off to replace the spark plugs and plug wires.  Just how much of it needs to come off to change these items?

Thanks
Answer -
Hi Dennis,
My experience with all the different engines that were developed around 1995-on is minimal (the small V-6's) so I can only look at drawings from the various manuals in my possession. If you can tell me which engine (straight 4 or V-6, and what displacement) I will see if I can give you any suggestions. But while it may look daunting, you may find that removing the gear in the way is not too dificult.
I await your response with interest.
Roland

It is a 3.5 V6.  I'm guessing that all 94-97 LHS were the same.

Answer
Hi Dennis,
I unfortunately don't have my manual for the LHS in hand, yet. I recently (before Christmas) bought on eBay the Chrysler shop manual for it that was written for the 1994 LHS, but it is on its way from Manitoba, Canada. Other manuals I have cover the 3.0, 3.3 and 3.8 V-6's of an earlier era.  As soon as the LHS manual arrives I will look at the engine you have and see if I can identify what has to come off to get the plugs and wires out and in. Then I'll write back to you. Thanks for your understanding.
