Chrysler Repair: 95 eagle talon, eagle talon esi, new computer system

I have a 95 eagle talon esi thats been giving me grief. It started out as chugging at high speeds but now it's a problem with starting off at stop lights ect.  It will rev between 2000-4000 rpms and just sputters, than it'll pick up and improve but not completely.  I've taken it in and chrysler checked the simple things like spark plugs, injectors, ect.  Now they say their last resort is putting in a new computer system.  I know this is a vague explanation but do you have any ideas of what this could be..I dont have the best luck with shops.  Thanks

Hi Bodhi,
I would like to know which engine is in your talon? That would help me to understand what the problem might be. Also, please describe once again how the engine idles, accelerates at low rpm and mid rpm, and how it is running at a constant rpm(cruising). Did the dealer readout the compurter for fault codes, or did you? Let me know and we can take this a little further toward a solution.
