Dodge Repair: Alternator/egr/o2 ssr fuse keeps blowing, side question, thime

Question
QUESTION: 2002 Stratus Sedan. Thought my alternator was bad, so, new alternator new battery.  then i found out the fuse had blown.    the fuse blows every thime the key hits the ON/Run position.  I know its a short, but i cant find the Alt/egr/o2 #25/20Amp fuse in the wiring schematic.  ive checked and replaced fuseable links, and as much wiring as i can find.  i pulled fuses and flipped key to trouble shoot different circuits.  the only one that made a difference was the start/fuel fuse in the engine relay box.
please help me if you can!!

ANSWER: u got a fun one from the looks of it  the CKT is F142. Temm me what engine u have and I will email u some pics of the wire diagram. What i would do is start by unplugging what u can like egr sol and some o2s. Unplug them all and then see if it blows. What I am trying to get u to do is see if there is a wire issue or a part issue that is blowing the fuse. Uplug teh EGR,O2s dont worry about the atl because u got a new on on there to start with. Once u have them unplugged and not blowing teh fuse then plug them back in one at a time until u see what is nuking it. If the fuse is still blowing it after everything is unplugged then u have a shorted wire on your hands.

QUESTION: alrighty... i remembered i ask this after i had fixed the problem, but now i have another question.  it was the O2 sensor after the cat. on the firewall side.  question is, do i need to replace both of them top and bottom???  i left the bottom side unhooked so it would keep from blowing the fuse. is that going to hurt anything till i can get another one?

Answer
yeah  I would replace both they work as a pair. Plus murphys law   replace one  then the other will go bad soon. The only thing it will do is keep the light on and it will also make it run funny. Get it done asap so u dont get into any issues with a converter or such.
