i changed the alternator in my 1988 ford bronco 2 and the battery still wont charge what might be the problem?

without actually being there, found the positive lead from the alternator back to the fuse panel. two things are possible, the fuse under the hood is blown for the alternator or somewhere along this cable from the alternator back to the battery/fuse panel, the wire is corroded.. very common concern. try this, run a large jumber wire fromthe positive wire from the alternator to the battery and then check the output.
