Ford Repair: 1999 ford ranger, muffler shops, coil pack

thank you for the answer you sent. i had the codes read at autozone. there was 5 of them. i did not get the readout. three of them pertained to ox. sensor or lean condition
one of them said a miss on cyl. #3. do you think the coil pack can be bad?  again , thank you very much.

First I would like to apologize for not getting back to you sooner. I had some families issues that required attention and was away from my computer for a few days. Yes, the coil pack could be bad. Another possibility is that the catalytic converter is clogged. You can have it tested for free at most muffler shops. Get me the codes this time, and I can be more helpful. Thanks.
