Ford Repair: Dual exhaust on my 98 v6 mustang, flowmaster mufflers, v6 mustang

Hey Steve,

 Hope this is an easy one for you. I just bought 2 Flowmaster mufflers that came off a 05 gt. What's the easiest way to put these duals on my 98 v6 mustang? You reccomend a "y pipe" or should I cut something and make them true duals? would it be hard?

  Just put true duals on there.  Having two Y pipes (the stock one in front and another to branch out to a second muffler) would be kind of pointless.  You'd get the sound, but no extra performance.  Just about any exhaust shop can do a dual exhaust setup from the headers back for relatively cheap.  Hope this helps.
