i have a lx car with a 306 . it has winsor jr heads shorty headers 1 5/8 3" exhaust curved behind the front tires.demon carburator weiand stealth intake comp 280 280 hydrolic cam . nx express with 200 shot pills.c4 trans full roller bearing manual shift.aluminum drive shaft.4.56 gears and welded spiders. solid control arms 28x10.5 micky,s.msd 6AL ignition box.car is gutted out all but dash pannel and door panels and has a roll cage.runs 8.47 on motor and 7.20 on spray.can you tell me if these times are about right or should i expect a little more.i cant find a dyno shop where i live so i dont know the hp specs.1/8 mile 60 ft 1.556/ et 7.226./ mph 92.932 1/8 mile. motor 60ft 1.793/et 8.418/ mph 79.536

  Well...you didn't mention if you're running in the 1/8 or 1/4 mile, but I'll assume it's the 1/8 mile from the times you posted.  I'd say those are pretty respectable times given your setup.  I could probably give you a better idea if I knew your 60ft. times.  All in all though, I'd say you're off to a good start.  Hope this helps.

  Those 60ft. times are ok.  Not great, but ok.  Well...the nitrous 60ft. time is actually pretty good, but the all motor pass could use some work.  I'd try and get some more traction out of the car.  Maybe some drag springs and shocks/struts.  Aside from a little more traction I think you've just about maxed out your combination as it is now.
