Ford Repair: 96 Probe GT, ford probe gt, system hoses

Question
I have a 96 Ford Probe GT and currently having loss of power and engine stutter when under load.  I have changed all of the obvious parts including disty, plugs, wires, vaf, ecu (ecu died cause of a short in the egr wiring), cat converter.  Compression is good across the board.  I am not blowing any smoke out the back.  Timing seems to be on.  Just can't figure this one out.  If I feather the throttle to about 10-20%, it will run just fine.  If I give it any more than that, the motor loses all power, and starts to stutter.  I am not getting any codes relating to this issue from the pcm.  The only code I am getting is a p1195, somethin with the egr system:)  I was wondering if you could give me a direction to look in for tryin to fix this beast?  Thank ya:)

Answer
By disty do you mean distributor? This engine had plenty of problems with that part.

Looking at the tests for P1195, it appears that the PCM gets BARO input from the EGR system, this could contribute to your present problem. Are all the EGR system hoses, wires, connectors ok? Diagnosis requires a scan tool capable of displaying PIDS and diganostic info, as well as a DVOM
