Where is the selanoid located on a 1997 ford e250 van with a v8?  I think this maybe my problem with starting issues?  Is there a free web site with diagrams?

I don't know of any free website diagrams.

The starter relay should be under the hood, either next to the battery, or on the firewall. It will be mounted to a metal part of the body. There is also a solenoid on the starter. If the relay is working there should be an audible clicking noise.
