Ford Repair: 94 Thunderbird cooling fan switch, ford thunderbird, fan switch

Question
I have a 94 Ford Thunderbird with a 4.6L engine that I believe needs a new cooling fan switch. I have bypassed the switch and the fan will run so this is why I believe this is the part I need. However I have been unable to locate the switch under the hood. I do know what the part looks like, I just don't know where it is located. Could you possibly tell me where to find this part under the hood? Or maybe provide a schematic that I don't have to pay for?

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
In your question, you stated that you by-passed the switch. How did you do that if you don't know where the switch is? the sensor that you are looking for is called and ECT (engine collant temp). It has two wires and is usually located on the intake manifold of the engine.
Hope this helps,
Erik
