Ford Repair: Burning Oil, saturn sc2, oil gauge

My car is burning oil very badly. When I woke this morning at 8:00 I put two quarts of oil in and now at 4:00 My oil gauge is on and ALL the oil has burnt out. What could it be? And what would it cost to fix? Its a Saturn SC2 1993. In the past year I have Done the Brakes, Struts, muffler, rear shoes and hardware, the top motor mount was replaced, new Battery, and the oil was just changed and on time.

It could be bad rings on the pistons or the valve guides are bad or both. If it is burning oil as bad as you say you really require the engine in your car to be completely rebuild which will cost about $3,000.00. You would be better off purchasing a used motor from a reputable salvage yard which will cost around $1500 to $2,000.00. But before you do that my question to you would be, are you sure that you are not leaking oil from somewhere? Good luck.
