Question
i just bought a 1996 honda accord , v4 & as soon as i start the car there is excessive white smoke coming out of the tail pipe and it doesn't stop . whats causing the smoke ? & how much will it cost to fix ? please helpppp

Answer
Most of the time excessive white smoke is caused by a blown head gasket. The smoke you see is probably actually steam caused by water and coolant from the cooling system entering the combustion chambers.
This is a fairly expensive fix if that is what is causing it. You need to get it to a good repair shop so they can diagnose this for sure.
You also might want to contact the person that you bought it from if they didn't tell you this was a problem.
