Honda Repair: 1993 honda accord starter, honda accord starter

Question
i have a 1993 honda accord lx put had a new starter put in it yesterday and it seem like the starter is still running even after the key is pull out ingition....the only way to stop it is t disconnect the bat cable...what wuld be causing this faulty starter??

Answer
The most likely cause is a bad starter solenoid. It is built into the starter and most of the time you can't replace them like you used to be able to do.
It could also be your ignition switch sending power there after it is started, but that is unlikely since it was not a problem before you installed a new starter.
It is actually fairly common to get rebuilt starters that are faulty from the parts store.
