Honda Repair: honda accord has lost power, valve cover gasket, honda accord

I have recently got a 1989 Honda accord 4cyclinder 5speed. The car ran good for a couple of weeks then comeing home one day the car lost all power and wouldnt idel right. When Ichanged the spark plugs they were covered in oil. Thank You for time to answer this.

Joshua, the spark plugs covered in oil is an indication that the spark plug tube seals are shot. Purchase the kit that includes 4 new spark plug tube seals and a valve cover gasket. This will prevent the oil from entering the spark plug tube (chambers). I would also definitely invest in a tune up. Spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, fuel pump, and have the timing and idle adjusted and set properly.
