Hyundai Repair: hyundai milage instrument light, instrument light, instrument cluster

Question
The milage light is not working on my 2004 Elantra. All of the other instrument lights function normally. I can only barely make out the milage numbers during the day. How can I fix/replace the bulb?

Answer
There should be a bulb in the back of the instrument cluster that illuminates this.  First, you'll need to remove the dash trim.  There will be two screws in the top near the instrument cluster and two behind the ashtray.  Tilt the wheel down and remove the trim, unplugging the electrical connectors.  Then remove the four screws holding the cluster in place and remove the cluster, unplugging the electrical connectors.  After that, it's a matter of identifying and replacing the bulb that illuminates the odometer.
