Isuzu Repair: Isuzu climate control, climate control, defroster

Daniel:  You have been helping me diagnose my climate control issue on 2002 Rodeo.  It is stuck on defrost & you believe since fuzes have popped in past that resistor on blower housing might be bad.  I finally found it--two little screws--and got it out.  Is there a way to check it to see if it's bad?  I have a VOM.

Well you would need to check for continuity across each resistor coil George I am positive on that. Although if it is stuck on Defrost George I would test the actual ac/heating panel and the resistor. Also if fuses have popped the defroster could be shorted out causing fuses to pop as well. If you need anything else though please let me know George and we will figure it out and get you blowing some cold air again okay?
