Isuzu Repair: Warning lights, abs light, transmission code

Question
I have a problem with the automatic transmission light coming on and the trans going into limp mode. Today the battery was dead and when I jumped it I noticed the ABS light on and when I turned the engine off something next to the battery continued to run(sounds like a motor at the ABS control?) I had to pull the ABS fuse in order to stop it. Could the two be related? Any idea of the problem?
My vehicle is a 1995 Trooper.

Yes that is your ABS module and it is probably bad Barry, they are known for crapping out quite frequently too. The transmission code can be read by a scanner at Autozone for free and they will tell you what is wrong and what part/s you need. Although if you need anymore assistance do not hesitate to ask okay?
