Isuzu Repair: shifting problem, isuzu rodeo, isuzu dealership

Question
I own a 1998 Isuzu Rodeo The brake light came on and I had to push the break pedal a few times to get it to come out of park. I also noticed that I dont hear the clicking sound I used to here when I stepped on the break pedal. Is this something easy to fix or should I have a mechanic look at it?

Answer
Well your inhibitor switch is probably bad. Also have your ABS system recalled at a local ISUZU Dealership as well. They had these recalled when they first came out. The clicking sound is your abs unit. So it is probably bad anyway. Your trasnmission could be low on fluid. A low voltage issue is possible as well as these vehicles rely so heavily on electricity to run properly.
