Jeep Repair: steering, tie rod ends, power steering pump

had power steering pump replaced in 1997 Jeep wrangler and now there is too much play in the steering

Answer
the power steering pump would not have anything to do with play in the steering wheel.  However it could turn easier making it feel like there is some extra play.  Most common problems with loose steering are, track bars, and tie-rod ends.  Hope I could help you!
