Land Rover Repair: Lock problem, land rover discovery, land rover dealer

Hi,

I bought a Land Rover discovery 1999 two months ago, I could only open it with the key, because the button that does the keyless function doesn´t work, only the one that locks it. I can´t open the car because the hole in the door handle, in which you insert the key, it´s stucked, it doesn´t move. I´m desperate and I need to see what can I do, there´s not a Land Rover dealer in my town, and i think the only way to program the remote it´s taking it to a dealer, but I can´t even open the car, i can´t drive it, I´ll appreciate your valuable help.

It souns like you need a door lock and a pair of keyless remotes.  You could order a lock and try to get a locksmith to open the truck and change it.  You'll need a dealer or Land Rover specialist with the T4 or Autologic to code the pushbutton units.

You may be in for a tow to the dealer on this one.  Especially if it's gone to double lock.
