Land Rover Repair: 1998 discovery 1 EFI coil pack, coil pack, efi

Question
On my second coil pack and it seems to have just failed (no sparking).  

Are there other components that should be replaced with a new coil pack.

I have never seen two coil packs in a row fail.  I'd guess one of the following:

1) the diagnosis is wrong
2) you installed a defective part, possibly a no-name aftermarket

We change the wires with the pack, but I think there's more to your story
