Land Rover Repair: COOLANT FLUSH RR 1997HSE, block drain, air trap

Question
Hi,
I'm planning on draining/flushing my radiator and engine block. However, I want to make sure when the manual said left hand cylinder block drain plug - does it mean Driver side? Or it actually meant passenger? Since it noted! not to remove the right hand side plug. I just want to be sure. Can you clarify and confirm.
Also by draining and refilling will I expose myself to air trap. Or remove air that may have been trap in the system?
Thanks!

Answer
Hi Andrew,

if you are in N.America, you have LH driving and use this as your reference.

Its possible that removing the engine block plug could open you to having an air trap.  You can try flushing your engine without removing the plug.  Less likely to cause trouble.

All depends on how badly you have to flush the engine and if you suspect an air trap.  I would avoid causing one if it is not necessary.

Best of luck,
