Land Rover Repair: Discovery II - 2003, speed sensors, hill descent control

Hi John,

Unfortunately, I have the three amigos appearing on my dashboard (TC,ABS,and Hill Descent Control). To my surprise, this appears to be common problem among LR. As I'm expecting the worse from my LR dealer, would you know any shop selling modulator (new or used) at a better price ?

Take the truck to a specialist or dealer with an autologic or t4 system.  Find out what's wrong - the modulator is nothing but a guess.

Modulator repair kits are available, and speed sensors are common too.  Actual modulator failur eis not common.

But I'll stress that you need a shop with test gear that can talk to the truck and the training to do the job.  Most general purpose garages can't handle this - you need a specialist.
