Land Rover Repair: series 3 land rover clutch, slave cylinder, best of luck

on my land rover there seems to be nothing when i depress the clutch it has hydrolic fluid in and i have checked for leaks but it just doesnt work

Hi Gareth,

if you are trying to engage the clutch and it does not work, the chances are high that the slave cylinder has a problem.  Most LR dealers can replace the slave cylinder for about $400 to $600 using rebuilt parts.

This I know from experience.  The slave cyl. failed on my Disco and I had the very same symptoms.
