Lincoln/Mercury Repair: Emergency Brake Light, thire, emergency brake

Hi, I just noticed my emergency brake light comes on when Iam driving then goes off then on.I checked the brake and it's up all the way and the emergency brake itself I pulled up on it to make sure it was not stuck but thats ok.What can you tell me.Thanks! Paula

This sounds like a bad e switch on top of the hanldle thire is a switch gave it replaced and you should be fine.
i am pretty sure this is your problem .
u did not tell me the make of your car and model.
