Mazda Repair: Mazda 626 Motor Mount and Transmission, precision tune autocare, mazda 626

Question
I had my car serviced in Precision Tune AutoCare, including 90K standard (transmission flush, tune-up etc) and timing belt etc.  After the service, I started finding the strange noise and erratic RPM change.  I took the car back several times.  At certain point, the owner told me that the motor mount was not properly installed when they performed the timing belt change.  Eventually the last time I went back to them, they told me that the transmission was dead.  The shop owner did not want to take any responsibility, but said that he could do me a favor by offering $500 to buy my car.

I suspect that the transmission eventual damage was caused by their inappropriate installation of the timing belt and motor mount (possible wrong trans. fluid?), but I'm not sure.  Could you please give me some of your opinion?  Thank you!

Answer
i suggest seaking legal advice and having your car inspected by another shop to see if any of the problem you are having with the car is due to the repairs that you had done at the shop inquestion. it's really hard to prove that they caused the damage up if your able to have the shop owner openly addmit that your car was serviced imporperly you may have some legal grounds to force time to pay for the repairs that are needed
a lab can test the tranny fuild to make sure that the proper fluid was used it's just a matter of you having to do all that work (is it worth it)
