Mazda Repair: low compression, oil leaks, mazda 929

Question
hello, i have a 89 Mazda 929. a couple of weeks ago i went outside to warm my car up in the morning, i started it and went to grab something from my kitchen, when i got back the car was off. and now it doesn't start.
i checked the spark plugs, distributor and fuel pump, they all work, plugs fire, etc. The car some kind of low buzzing noise from the area around the intake manifold.
the car had oil, and antifreeze, etc. the car ran  for less then 5 minutes so it couldn't overheated. i don know what wrong, also a bolt about 3 1/2" long was found laying under the car, i cant find where it goes.?? when i crank the engine, theres is no banging or clanking or grinding, the lifters go up and down and all the pulleys and belts turn. but no start. i decide to do a compression check and the compression reads zero on all three cylinders on the left side and 5, 30 , and 30 psi on the right side. i don't understand? if the motor blow wouldn't there be oil leaks and how come the lifters turn and why doesn't make allot of noise when i crank it? could it be a gasket. i couldn't find any cracks or holes in block. please help me. are there and test i can do to find out what happened and is it fixable?

Answer
i doubt it's a compression problem, that bolt i'm not sure of  sounds  maybe a timing belt tentioner pulley went then timing jumped,  that would give you low compression readings. dident say how many miles since you had the belt replaced, i would take off the front covers and check timing marks first. i've also seen mice building nests fairly quickly and making the timing jump.. anyways' deff sounds like something in the timing belt area broke.  let me know what you found
